Canadian Dealer Trip 2007 Sonor GmbH. & Co. KG, & Coast Music, Sonor’s Canadian distribution partner hosted 27 Sonor Retailers from across Canada at the esteemed Sonor Drums factory in Bad Berleberg, Germany in Early June, 2007. In addition to the Canadian retailers, seven of Coast Music’s Sales Representatives were in attendance, as well as Canadian Sonor Endorser: Anthony Michelli, Coast Music’s Marketing Manager: Gil Karout, and Artist Relations and Product Manager for Sonor in Canada: Scott Atkins. Chris Sutherland Returns Canada's on-call, in-the-pocket groover, and founder of the "Working Drummer's Boot Camp": CHRIS SUTHERLAND recently returned from a European tour with Canadian icons: SAGA. Chris was touring with Sonor's Delite Series Drums, and commented: The sound engineer was losing his mind with the sound of these drums every night, and the hardware was just amazing!" If you have had your Radio or Television on, or if you have been following the Canadian Music scene for the last 10 years, you will have heard Chris play at some point. Besides performing with his own indie rock band: "Squeek", he is the rhythmic backbone behind Canadian Rock Legend: Kim Mitchell, and a past member of the Doc Walker Band. He was the house drummer for the musical: MAMMA MIA, featuring the music of ABBA and has recorded and performed with Amanda Falk, Jason McCoy, The Wilkinsons, Michelle Wright, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, Sass Jordan, Willie Mack, and many others. Chris has recorded many Jingles and TV spots for the likes of Coca Cola, Coors Light, NFL, NHL, My Father the Rock star and others who have hired him to make noise.
